ABRIGATE CON ESTILO: Abrigos

No puedo negar que cuando se acerca el invierno empiezo a sentir...FRÍO! pero con una mezcla de satisfacción y placer. Me pongo a pensar donde guarde mis abrigos la ultima vez? y disfruto pensando cual específicamente colgare en mi closet y cual se ira a abrigar a alguien mas. Aparece la publicidad de diferentes tiendas y de paso veo que me pueden ofrecer. Generalmente me compro un abrigo que me guste mucho o dos si es que el presupuesto me lo permite, pero trato de reciclar e indagar en mi closet en busca de alguna prenda que pueda mirar con otros ojos. He aqui una selección para tu deleite! Espero que te inspires, saques ideas y disfrutes...tanto como salir al frío con un abrigo calientito que además refleja tu personalidad.

I can't deny that when the Winter is near I start feeling...COLD! but I also feel a mixture of satisfaction and pleasure. I start thinking about...where did I leave my coats the last time? and I enjoy deliberating which specific one will stay in my closet and which one will go and dress someone else.
Different store adds starts to appear and I often check them out to see what they have to offer. Usually,  I buy one coat that I really like or two if my budget allows, but I always try to recycle and investigate in my closet in search for a piece that I could look with fresh eyes. Here it's a selection for your delight! I hope you get inspire, get ideas and enjoy...as much as going out to the cold weather in a warm coat that represent you and only you.

ABRIGATE CON ESTILO: Polerones

Desde que tengo memoria, los polerones han sido la prenda mas cómoda en mi clóset. Me los ponía para salir a jugar cuando era chica y para ¨taquillar¨ cuando era adolecente (sobre todo los con cierre en esa época) despues fueron cómodos para hacer cosas en la casa, ir al gimnasio, pintar etc...

Hoy, me parece una prenda super válida para mantenerse calientita en el dia a dia ya que los nuevos diseños, texturas y colores son perfectos para ir trabajar (si tu trabajo no requiere uniforme), salir a comer, pasear, comprar etc...Eso si, siempre elígelos con cautela ya que no queremos vernos demasiado descuidadas en una cita romántica o en un evento determinado. Mi consejo es elejirlos y combinarlos con tacto y SIEMPRE ser fiel a ti misma. He aqui algunos bellos y practicos ejemplares! (Otoño - Invierno 2012)

Since I have memory sweatshirts have been the most comfortable piece in my closet. I used to wear them to go out and play with my friends as a kid and also to ¨be cool¨ as a teenager (especially hoodies at the time) then they became super comfy to do things around the house, go to the gym, painting etc...

Today, I consider sweatshirts to be a great option for the everyday life. The new designs, textures and colors are perfect to go to work (if you don´t require an uniform) to go out with friends, to go shopping etc...That is, if you choose them carefully because we don´t want to look sloppy on a romantic date or in any specific event. My advice is to choose and combine them wisely and ALWAYS be true to yourself. Here´s some cute and practical examples! (Autumn - Winter 2012)

Louis Vuitton presents "Walking in Fabrizio Viti's Shoes"

Después de ver "Walking in Fabrizio Viti's Shoes" por Louis Vuitton me da ganas de tener una segunda niñez y jugar con Barbies nuevamente...no había nada como tener muchos zapatitos!!! y ropa! Recuerdo mis incursiones fallidas en el mundo de la costura haciendole vestidos a mis Barbies...que tiempos aquellos. ♥

After seen "Walking in Fabrizio Viti's Shoes" by  Louis Vuitton I feel like I want to have a second childhood and play with Barbies again...there was nothing like having lots of little shoes!!! and clothes! I remember trying to sew dresses for my Barbies (and failing)...ahh what a lovely time. ♥

Super easy to use and to combine, Galaxy print it's what I'd call a refreshing trend. You can use it day or night, dress it down or dress it up and I' d dare to say that it doesn't belong to any specific season. Besides...is there anything cooler that our galaxy?

Súper fácil de usar y de combinar, el estampado de Galaxia es lo que yo llamaría una tendencia refrescante. Lo puedes usar día y noche y me atrevería a decir que no corresponde a ninguna estación especifica. Aparte...existe algo mas cool que nuestra galaxia?

Cejas Coloreadas - Colored Eyebrows

Que es lo que pienso de ellas?

Extremas...si. Modernas...si. Originales muuuy!!! 

Las cejas de colores entran cada vez mas en la industria de la moda y de la belleza. Aunque no creo que a mi mama o gente de generaciones anteriores les atraigan...o quien sabe? De lo que si estoy segura es que se vienen en grande y a su paso abren una nueva forma de expresión para todos quienes quieran probar cosas nuevas. Además no es tan extremo como teñirse todo el pelo y puedes jugar con los colores que complementan el color de tus ojos, tu pelo, tu ropa, etc... Definitivamente para mi es un "si" y bienvenidas sean! 

What do I think of them?

Extreme...yes. Modern...yes. Original...veeery!!!

Colored eyebrows are making their way into the fashion and beauty industries. However, I don't think my mother or people from earlier generations would feel attracted by them...or who knows?! What I'm pretty sure about is that they are coming to stay and to create a new form of expression for everyone who likes to try new things. Besides, it is not as extreme as dying all your hair and you can play with the colors that complement your eyes, your hair, your clothes, etc...For me it's definitely a "yes" and I welcome them!
